Our chapter dues are used for various philanthropic activities, including supporting the Delta Delta Delta Foundation and the South Bay Alumnae Panhellenic Association who offer the following scholarships.

Delta Delta Delta Foundation

As part of its mission to assist Tri Delta and her members, the Tri Delta Foundation offers undergraduate and graduate scholarships to collegians and alumnae each year. Scholarships are awarded based on chapter and campus involvement, community service, academic achievement and financial need. Through the generous contributions of Tri Delta members and friends, the Foundation awarded $82,500 in undergraduate and graduate scholarships for the 2007-2008 academic year to 45 outstanding Tri Delta recipients.

Undergraduate Scholarships

• All initiated sophomore and junior members-in-good-standing are encouraged to apply.

South Bay Alumnae Panhellenic Association

The South Bay Alumnae Panhellenic Association is comprised of delegates from each of the active National Panhellenic Conference sorority alumnae organizations in the South Bay area, and represents more than 600 university-educated women.  Members are engaged in successful careers and regularly volunteer their time to the public service of colleges, communities, and philanthropies.  Since 1967, SBAPA has provided scholarships to many outstanding female students in the community.  During the last 5 years, SBAPA has awarded approximately $55,000 in scholarships to deserving young women.

High School Scholarships

• Scholarships are $750 for the 2008-2009 academic year. 
• Requirement: senior girls attending a high school in the South Bay.
• Application Form (Word).
• Send completed applications to: Franci Agajanian-SBAPA, 2802 Tennyson Place, Hermosa Beach, CA  90254.  Applications are to be postmarked no later than March 31, 2008.  All applicants will be notified of the Committee’s decision by April 30, 2008.

Collegiate Scholarships

• Scholarships are $2,000 for the 2008-2009 academic year. 
• Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. 
• Requirements: must be an active member of a National Panhellenic Conference sorority who also: 1) is a past or current resident of the Los Angeles South Bay area; 2) attended a high school in the South Bay; 3) attend a university in the South Bay (CSUDH); or 4) are dependents of a South Bay resident.
• Application Form (Word).
